PORTO, Portugal, April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On April 2nd, 93 countries across the globe including the U.S.A., Taiwan, Portugal, Uganda, Poland, Italy, Spain, and Argentina, participated in International Good Deeds Day 2017. Enthusiasm around this international day of good increases every year, with millions joining-in to do a good deed for the benefit of others.

At Good Deeds Day 2017 in Porto, Portugal David Arison, businesswomen and philanthropist Shari Arison, H.R.H. Duarte Pio, the Duke of Braganza and Rafi Elul, Chairman of Good Spirit NGO (R to L) participated in a day of family activities including concerts, live painting, and yoga classes as well as an NGO fair showcasing the work of more than 30 nonprofits.
Portugal joined Good Deeds Day this year, kicking-off the event in Porto on Friday, March 31st with numerous projects. On the day itself, a central event was held in the city's main square, Praça dos Poveiros, attended by H.R.H. Duarte Pio, Duke of Braganza, who participated with many others in fun family activities such as concerts, Live Painting, and yoga classes. Alongside was an NGO fair showcasing the work of more than 30 nonprofits. Additionally, the Soccer League broadcast audio and video messages of Good Deeds Day, during breaks in the weekends' games.
